About Us
Tucked away on Vista del Sol Drive in Rancho Mirage, Swaha Yoga 111 is a warm Spanish-revival space surrounded by desert gardens. It was built to feel like a retreat — because that's exactly what a yoga studio should be.
Narayani built Swaha Yoga 111 on a simple belief: yoga should be rooted in its traditions while remaining open to every body that walks through the door. "Swaha" — a Sanskrit word meaning an offering — reflects the spirit of the studio: every class is an offering of breath, movement, and community.
The "111" in our name carries its own significance — a number associated with new beginnings, alignment, and intention. Together, Swaha Yoga 111 represents a place where ancient practice meets fresh starts.
What sets this studio apart isn't just the classes — it's the space itself. A warm Spanish-revival building, beautiful desert gardens, and an interior designed to feel grounding the moment you step inside. Students describe it as a hidden retreat in the desert, and that's exactly what we intended.
Sanskrit is woven into our name and our teaching. We honor the lineage of yoga — the breath, the philosophy, the ancient practices — while making space for modern bodies and lives.
Every class, every level. Whether you've practiced for twenty years or you've never touched a mat, you belong here. Modifications are always offered. Judgment never is.
Pranayama isn't an add-on — it's the foundation. Every flow, every hold, every transition starts with the breath. When you leave, that awareness stays with you.
Every instructor brings their own style, their own depth, and their own way of guiding you home to your body.
