Slow down. Let go. Come home to yourself.
Restorative yoga at Swaha Yoga 111 is a deeply nourishing practice using props and supported postures to calm your nervous system. Combined with conscious breathwork (pranayama), each pose is held for several minutes, giving your body permission to release tension it's been carrying. This isn't passive — it's an active practice of surrender.
Long, supported holds activate your parasympathetic response — the rest-and-digest mode that modern life rarely allows. You'll feel the shift within minutes.
Props do the work of holding you, so there's no strain, no flexibility requirement, and no wrong way to do it. Come as you are.
Pranayama techniques woven into the practice help reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality, and build a toolkit you can use anytime you need to regulate.
Wear comfortable layers — you won't be building heat. We provide bolsters, blankets, and blocks. You'll hold 5-7 supported postures over the session, each one a chance to release a little more. Many students fall asleep, and that's perfectly fine.
