FAQ

Questions we hear often

New to yoga? New to us? Here's what you need to know.

Bring a water bottle, a towel (especially for heated classes), and wear comfortable, breathable clothing. We have mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets at the studio. Arrive 10 minutes early so you can settle in and meet your instructor.

Not at all. Every class at Swaha Yoga 111 welcomes all levels. Our instructors offer modifications for beginners and amplifications for experienced practitioners. Whether it's your first day or your thousandth, you belong here.

Our Hot Vinyasa and Hot 60 classes are practiced in rooms heated to 95-105 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmth helps your muscles release more deeply and encourages a natural detox through sweat. Bring extra water and a large towel for your mat.

SwahaBhava Flow is our signature 75-minute class, found only at Swaha Yoga 111. Inspired by Jonah Kest, you move through seven transformational doorways — each one a distinct chapter of breath-driven movement. It's intermediate to advanced, so previous vinyasa experience is recommended.

During our Restore + Soundbath class, you'll settle into supported restorative poses while crystal bowls and gongs play around you. The vibrations help your brain shift into a deeply relaxed state. Some people sleep, some people cry — both are welcome. Your only job is to lie still and receive.

All classes are booked through the Momence platform. You can book via the Momence app (available on iOS and Android) or through our website's schedule page. First-time visitors can grab our 3-for-$33 intro offer to get started.

Yes. High school students pay $10 per class and college students pay $20 per class with a valid student ID. We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, especially those just starting their practice.

Recovery 2.0 meetings are heart-centered spaces held at the studio, welcoming anyone in recovery. They combine community support with mindful practice. These meetings are separate from our regular class schedule — check with us for current times.

We're at 39935 Vista del Sol Drive in Rancho Mirage, CA 92270. The studio is tucked away in a warm Spanish-revival space surrounded by desert gardens — look for the garden entrance. Yes. We offer customized one-on-one private sessions tailored to your specific goals — whether that's working on a particular pose, recovering from an injury, or deepening your meditation practice. Contact us to schedule.
